This June, Unilab launches Ideas Positive: The Unilab Youth Camp for Change—an idea-generation camp and competition for college students that aims to inspire fresh, developmental, and research-based social marketing initiatives that promote and advance health and wellness at the community level. Ideas Positive taps on the youth’s rich and creative wellspring of ideas while harnessing the Filipino culture of Bayanihan to transform these ideas into positive change in communities.
Global Warming causes an increase in the world’s temperature over time; Global warming may force species out of their habitat or into EXTINCTION.
Heat waves, flooding (remember ONDOY) and other extreme weather events around the world have shown that global warming has started taking its toll.
WHAT YOU CAN DO?
1. Use Energy-efficient light bulbs
2. Turn off the water while brushing.
3. Recycle old magazine and newspaper.
4. Use energy saving appliances (look for ENERGY STAR® label)
5. Unplug your appliances when they’re not in use.
6. Avoid using Styrofoam
7. Invest in LCD monitors instead of the Regular CRT (LCD monitors consume less energy)
8. Dont print ATM Receipts
9. Reduce your water consumption.

11.Plant a Tree.
12. Spread the word to your family and friends.
