4 Travel tips for Couples

If you notice most of my travel post is all about my adventure with my beau so I decided to write four travel tips for the couples like us, some of them are based on my experienced that’s I why I want to share this.

1.  Have a Travel Fund- of course this is important before anything else having a fund will make you feel confident to spend your money just for travel and also to track your budget as earliest as possible you can put it on a separate bank account or a piggy bank label it for example: 15k for Baguio Trip, from that your mind set to budget that amount in your specific trip.

2.  Plan together- of course two of you are involved in this trip so why not plan this together? Delegate a task for example I’m the one in charge for hotel booking and what documents to bring while my boyfriend in charge in itinerary and budgeting.

3.  Pack light- Literally, this is the most common tips for most travelers but this also should be applied to couples. Bring only what necessary so you will not end up focus on the thing that you bring. aside from that you can easily move around.

4.   Enjoy and have fun- don’t sweat small stuff (I’m guilty to this!) cherish your moment together, always remember that you spend vacation to enjoy.

Luljettas Hanging Garden & Spa

I would like to thanks b for this wonderful quick R&R in Luljettas Hanging Garden & Spa in Loreland Resort in Antipolo. A weekend spa is really the best how i wish we can do more of this in the future.

Since last year were eyeing for this Spa it was the first spa with this kind of concept a hanging garden with a view of Laguna de bay and Manila skyline.

I love the privacy of the place and there was only few guest during our visit since it weekdays. We reserved through text and they promptly reply to all my queries, and to enjoy what luljettas amenities has we reserved a room in loreland resort. We availed their Hanging Garden Retreat Package (visit their website for more package)

Inclusions: good for 7 hours, welcome drinks, use of sauna, heated jacuzzi, hydro massage, infinity pools, dr.  fish spa, shower,  locker room, access to lounges and gardens. traditional bathrobe (batik) and towel for your use. Package include complimentary snacks of Antipolo's Best Suman.

We spent most of the time at the pool and taking some picture since the place is really loveable and relaxing.

Service:

The staff are friendly, though we reserved 8:00 pm and were there 30 mins. before our reserved time they did not accommodate as right away because they said they have to fix the room which i thought it was a nipa hut as what show to their website but it was just a room with divider and i think they don't need to fix it at all cause no one use it.

Massage:

The Pressure of massage is the same as what i experience from other spa but their massage oil is somewhat sticky compare to other and i need to wipe it off.

Overall b and i had a great time.

Touch of Grace Wellness Spa

Part of my birthday celebration is to have a relaxing pampering and massage together of course with my better half b, I found Touch of Grace Wellness Spa through net. a week before my birthday i texted them and inquire regarding their couple's package, and i'm glad that they promptly respond to my text Ms. Gladys respond that we are entitled to a 20% off with 1.5 hour body massage with VIP Room and exclusive use of wet room (enclosed of Jacuzzi, steam bath and shower) for only 1,240. I set an appointment right away.

As we arrived there the staff are very accommodating, the interior has a homely feeling  you can smell the peppermint aroma, they let us change a slipper first and they guide us to the wet room , of course we soak our self at the Jacuzzi which is our first time. they allowed us to use this for 20 minutes.

The Massage was a little bit hard they asked if the pressure is okay, but still i can feel the hard pressure from time to time strokes used are thumb and palm pressing, i don't know what's the name of massage maybe it's their signature massage, i enjoyed the last part where in the pressed and rubbing is just right. i thought that some pain will last but it dissapear a few minute after the massage.

They provide something to drink after the session and allowed us to stay in the room. I heart Touch of Grace Wellness Spa for being accommodating they treat us like a VIP's and i'm looking forward to visit them again.

Spa @ Cocoon Boutique Hotel

I'm a massage junkie i really love good kneads and since it was a stressful week for me b and i decided to use the coupon i bought at Deal grocer last March 2013 it was a 60 minute Signature Body Massage and 30 minute Reflexology worth 800 pesos.

B set an appointment at the spa at 5:00 pm and were just on time i remind b that i want a private room so we just add a 100 pesos for that :) the receptionist are welcoming and introduced us to our therapist and asked us if we want to have a shower first of course we want  :) below are some photos taken inside (i didn't bring my camera so we use our camera phone instead) sorry for a low quality photos see the place with yourself and you will be amazed :)

I love the heated bed :) we thought that the heat is coming from the essential oil but not, i feel so relaxed i know b is also feel the same way, i was smiling the entire session i highly recommend this place i read many bad reviews on discount voucher that they didn't get what they deserved some merchants almost didn't want to accommodate those people who purchase the voucher. But the Spa @ Cocoon Boutique was different they almost treat us like a royalties :) we feel like VIP's since were the only client that time and B told me that he want to back here. I rate them 10 out of 10.

Posh Nail Hand & Foot Spa Experience

It was a nice long weekend when b and i decided to go to Posh Nail Hand and Foot Spa at SM North Edsa Annex,we availed their DRY FOOT PEDICURE designed for very tired, aching feet which include foot spa, soak, spa, scrub,massage (10 min.), pedicure, paraffin dip (20 min.) cost 750 Php.

this time b really enjoy the foot spa, i even like the interior which is very cozy :) i highly recommend this place it's not crowded and you don't have to wait outside just to be served they even have a wide range of nail polish to choose.

Sonya's Garden Spa

There's was buzz how beautiful Sonya's Garden is, and is indeed true the place was very romantic and has a homey feeling ,situated at alfonso cavite which is still part of tagaytay take a tricycle cab that will takes 15 min rides from the terminal,

Our Massage experience here is not nice and were not going to back here again. We arrived at sonya's garden around 6:50 pm since we stroll around tagaytay, the receptionist was so nice greet us warmly with a smile. told her that we want to avail the Sonya's Signature Spa which is cost 1,800 because we want a couples room, the therapist which name is luz smirk and look uninterested to us, i feel awkward that time when we follow her to the room which is not a couples room since there's a three bed inside, she's just put the sarong and short and never told us what to do next, she's just walk out the room, b and i take a short shower when we went out and she's back she told us ''ano? mam sir? simula na po tayo'' and i told her to wait and then she smirk again she want all things to be in hurry maybe she's tired but i think it's not an excused to treat us that way.

she even told me to wear my slipper right away, she bring a 2 towel and one short but i wear a short then she laughed because the shorts was supposed to be for my bf Merilyn who's also a massage therapist was laughing also anyway we availed their Sonya's signature massage and add 100 for a couples room. Instead of being relax i was angry and dissapointed for the entire session. And they even had thick face to ask a TIP my dear if you don't want your job then resigned i really don't know why they look uninterested it is because my bf and i was their last customers. I love their Garden it's relaxing and romantic but i wouldn't recommend their spa. I feel sorry to the owner who has this kind of employee.

Nature's way Aromatheraphy Spa

Yesterday was another great day! (Aug 5) as we experience Royal Traditional Couple Spa at Nature's Way Aromatherapy Spa we avail their Traditional Couple Spa for 1,200 pesos package include

• steam bath
• VIP room
• shiatsu or Swedish massage
• coffee or tea

I find the massage very relaxing but you can hear another people on the other side since it was just a divider. you can even hear their employee laughing out loud outside the hallway that's why our masseuse keep on warning them. after the massage they advise us to relax for 10 minutes they didn't offer a coffee or tea which is included in the package, we did not remind them since i think it's their obligation to offer that to us. over all my rate is 7out of 10.

Body Tune Traditonal Thai Massage

I want to share my first experience in Body massage together with b, I've been fascinated about massage and i heard lot's of good benefits of it, that's why when i saw Body Tune Traditional Thai Massage in SM Fairview i didn't hesitate and i told b to give it a try, the receptionist are accommodating and she answer all our question she even told us that the couple room are subject to availability, but then she confirm from a massage therapist that the couple's room are available. We choose Swedish Massage i don't know what's the difference between Swedish and Shiatsu i know the receptionist explain it to us but i almost forgot :) anyway i don't care since it was our first time to try Body Massage.

The Massage therapist escorted us to sauna, and yes this is also my first to experienced the sauna 'thingy' it last for 15 minutes b, cannot endure the heat coming from the hot stone:) it's suffocating according to him after that we take a shower i don't know if it's right to have a shower after sauna. they gave us the toiletries and then voila! after the shower the massage started.

The Couple's Room are small actually it was divided nothing specially in a room it was dim light and has a small locker in a corner, as for the massage since it was our first time i can't compare it with other but massage is relaxing they even asked us if the pressure is okay the oils are not sticky, after that they offer a tea or coffee together with an envelope with their name we gave them a reasonable tip :)

I rate them 9 out of 10 :) like what i said to b if all personnel are accommodating and the massage is okay then we will back to them.
